In the state of Florida if you have Comprehensive Insurance your insurance company will waive your deductible and will cover the cost of windshield replacement or repair. Replacement or repair will be of no cost to you but will be covered by your insurance company. So the rumor that in Florida if you have Comprehensive Insurance windshields are free is inaccurate.
